providing more detail than the previous post, and perhaps giving dave a more appropriate post to comment to, box.ayntk.net is now live. A little empty, but the subject of grand plans.

For the moment it’s intended purpose is DNS, Mail, MySQL and files backup, subversion repository, and general place to put stuff that isn’t allowed on the webservers anymore. Following a minor debate about fedora/freebsd/debian, it’s a RHEL box, which curbs my apt-get’ing a bit, particularly from the testing tree. It also means this version is supported for 5 years. (5 years, did I say that already? 5 years of patches, for this vesion). And they had SSL patched before Slashdot posted.

It’s not debian, or bsd, but it does appear to be here to stay.
